DESCRIPTION:Mick Cawston Exhibition – Paintings\, Drawings\, Prints & Sculpture \n\n\n\nDoone Valley Gallery (next to The Buttery) is delighted to present our second exhibition of works by the celebrated British wildlife artist Mick Cawston (1959–2006). Featuring a selection of paintings\, drawings\, prints and sculpture\, this exhibition celebrates Cawston’s remarkable ability to capture the character\, movement and spirit of animals and the natural world.Renowned for his dynamic and expressive style\, Mick Cawston’s work is admired worldwide. His subjects – from working dogs and birds to rural wildlife – are brought vividly to life through confident brushwork and a keen eye for personality and form.This will be our second exhibition of Mick Cawston’s work at Doone Valley Gallery\, following a tremendously successful show around three years ago. We are very pleased to once again share a special collection of his work with visitors and collectors.The exhibition will open with a drinks reception on Friday 27th March at 6pm\, and everyone is warmly invited to join us for the opening evening.The exhibition will then continue until 30th April at:Doone Valley GalleryLorna Doone FarmMalmsmeadEX35 6NUSet in the beautiful surroundings of Exmoor National Park\, where Mick Cawston lived for many years\, the gallery provides the perfect setting to experience the vitality and charm of the artist’s work.We look forward to welcoming you.
